Welcome to the Carolina Bird Garden. The blog provides insight into birdlife and other inhabitants of gardens, parks, and urban areas in the Carolinas and beyond.
Here we will provide information about bird and wildlife gardening, birdfeeding, and general information for casual bird or nature watchers who just want to learn about what is around them. In addition, there will be articles or insights such as species highlights, garden and bird feeding tips, good books or resources, and highlights of birding spots in Southeastern NC, the South Carolina Coast or wherever our journeys take us.
The information within this series is aimed for all levels from nonbirders, and those who may not have gardens, to expert enthusiast and home conservationists. In the future I hope to include sections with more detailed information on local birdlife, and some concepts to improve bird habitat in the garden.
